About.
Where it all began.....

From a young age, I was drawn to storytelling - writing poems and imaginative tales that let my creativity run wild. As I grew older, I discovered I also had a musical side - learning violin and piano and then later teaching myself guitar, bass and a bit of ukelele. I realised the power of combining poetry and lyrics with the added emotion of sound and music was like alchemy. There was something magic about it.

Because of my natural flair for music, I was encouraged to take music as a GCSE option (even though I really wanted to do Drama), but I never really excelled in class - one music teacher strongly advising me to drop the subject altogether and told me i was disinterested and wasting his time. And yet, the other music teacher was alot more encouraging and saw a talent in me that most did not. She encouraged me to carry on in my own way and because of her, I did.

As fate would have it, when I didn't have to go to school, I was lucky enough to be able to spend time at a rehearsal and recording studio run by my cousin’s boyfriend (now husband) and his brother. As a painfully shy 15-year-old with rock star dreams, those early days really had a huge influence on my desire to work in music as a songwriter and performer.
I would stare out the window at the tour buses arriving to take bands off on tour, quietly longing for the day it would be my tour bus taking me on a journey of my own. I'd listen at the door as they rehearsed and I'd be able to sneak into some of the gigs as a guest. I also often had the chance to go backstage at large gigs and festivals, getting a real glimpse of what life was like as a touring musician. Seeing the energy, dedication, and excitement behind the scenes further inspired me to follow my passion.

Although I had all these amazing early influences, experiences and contacts, it wasn’t until I was 21 years old at Salford University that I finally plucked up the courage to join my first band.
It was a scruffy handwritten advert asking for a keyboard player that caught my eye. Encouraged by my flatmate to go for it, I timidly rang the number, auditioned, and got the job — on the condition that I swapped my 1990s Casio keyboard for something more modern. I was also the only person who responded to the advert, but for me, getting into my first band was the best feeling ever.
Little did I know, it was just the start of a lifelong journey - a true rollercoaster of an adventure full of love, sweat and tears. An adventure that to this day, continues to keep me getting up each day. Music is everything to me and I don't know where I, and the world would be without it.

Experience & Performance

Over the years, I’ve written original songs and compositions for major British television drama, received BBC Introducing airplay, and performed hundreds of live gigs as a singer, rhythm guitarist, bassist, violinist, keyboard player and backing vocalist.
Alongside performing, I hold an HND in Media Production and a BSc in Professional Broadcast Techniques, giving me both creative and technical expertise.

Home Studio & Production

In 2018, I invested in my own home studio, where I now write, record, and produce music using the latest Logic Pro software. This allows me to deliver high-quality original songs, bespoke compositions, and instrumental music for a wide range of projects — from filmmakers and businesses to creative collaborators.
